Mt Schoenstatt Conference and Retreat Centre

Set on fifty acres of bushland and open fields, accommodation and conference facilities ideal for group retreats, reflection days, seminars and conferences.

Their 'Home of Light' retreat is located in a picturesque valley and is home to kangaroos that happily relax nearby. This retreat can sleep up to 33 guests and consists of six partitioned rooms in a large building, with two sets of bunk beds in each (24 beds in total), four twin rooms (two single beds in each), and a co-ordinators room with an ensuite, a lounge area and large dining room suitable for group meetings.

The facility is self-catered, and does have a fully equipped kitchen for your use. Guests are asked to bring their own food, linen and towels. Blankets and pillows are provided. Please note that there is a minimum of 10 guests per booking.

Mt Schoenstatt is approximately a 15 minute drive to Penrith and located close to St Thomas Historic Church.

Mount Schoenstatt at Mulgoa is the Home of a beautiful Shrine where not only Catholics but people from many other religions visit to find peace and grace. With up to 1000 visitors each week, the Shrine is the centre of blessing for many people, it is where they seek solace and balance in their hectic lives, some for just a few minutes and others bring their families for the day, enjoying the surrounds and time in the Shrine.

The Shrine is open 7 days a week from 7.00 am to 8.00 pm. Mass is held daily at 7.00 am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday in the Joseph Kentenich House Chapel and on Thursday's and Sunday's at 11.00 am in the Family Hall.
