Join us on Friday 20 September and Saturday 21 September 2024, for an unforgettable weekend. This year’s highlight is the Kids' Zone, but there’s something for everyone to enjoy throughout the Festival. ENTERTAINMENT

This year’s must-see art installation is going to be GINORMOUS! The Guardians by Big and Useful Studio has been crafted just for Real Festival. These giant, whimsical wildflower sculptures burst with vibrant abstract patterns, dazzling in the sunshine and glowing brilliantly as night falls.

When: All day Fri & Sat

Step into a world of enchantment with the Shadow House - an extraordinary performance space and art installation crafted from recycled lace and materials. By day, it’s a magical kids' yoga spot and play fort; by night, it transforms into a captivating stage and puppet shadow theatre brought to life by local artist Bria McCarthy. When: Fri & Sat - 6:45pm, 7:45pm, 8:45pm. Book your session here.

Don’t miss Amber Dextrous, making her Real Festival debut with an awe-inspiring mix of aerials and fire twirling performance that will leave you gasping!

When: Kids Zone Stage 8pm / Sat

Also, keep an eye out for the roving performers, Pop Art and The Happy Hooper, who are sure to bring smiles all around. And remember to snap a pic and tag us at #realfestival!

Get ready to dive into nostalgia at the Open Air Arcade – a haven for adults seeking a nostalgic throw back, and a barrel of fun for the kids! Relive the glory days of the Twin Car Racer, Pinball Machine, Basketball League Machine, Dance Machine, MMA Boxer and King of the Hammer. It's a blast from the past with a modern twist!
When: All day Fri & Sat

Join the Silent DisGLOW and dance like no one is watching! (we’ll be honest though, someone probably is!). Grab some headphones, light up the night, and let’s GLOW dancing!

When: 4pm to 9pm / Fri & Sat

One of the Festival highlights is the Roller Rink by Busways. Be sure to pre-book your 30-minute session with skate hire so you don’t miss out. A neon-lit roll around the riverside rink sounds pretty fantastic - don’t you think?

When: 5pm to 10pm Fri / All day Sat – pre-book your session here.

Make the most of the beautiful Nepean River with kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding on Saturday. It’s a unique opportunity for a thrilling and memorable experience for the whole family. Just hop on board and start paddling!

CREATE, MAKE AND LEARN

Check the workshops page for what’s on as each day has a different crafty lineup where the kids can make their masterpieces. Bookings for some workshops are essential so get in quick!

There is solar making workshops for kids to recycled art, LEGO block building and lantern making for the whole family. P.S This year brings a NEW floating lantern parade so you can see your creations lit up and float down the Nepean River.

The Circus Drop Zone is back, ready to teach you the tricks of the trade! Try your hand at unicycling, juggling, diabolo, plate-spinning, hula-hooping, devil sticks, and of course, trapeze swinging! What will you master first?

When: 4pm to 9pm Fri / 12pm to 10pm Sat
