There’s plenty to see and do across Penrith. From wine tasting to spring festivals; music events and star gazing, you'll be spoilt for choice this month. Spring FestSt Marys Spring Festival - Saturday 7 September

The St Marys Spring Festival is a free community event that showcases the CBD and local businesses and includes stalls, performances and a grand parade at 12.30pm. Mark this one in your calendar and don't miss this great family-friendly event. 

Astronomy Night - Saturday 7 September

The Western Sydney University Observatory holds monthly astronomy nights giving you the chance to explore the night sky, use their telescopes and learn about our solar system. Bookings are essential for these events, so get in quick. 

Lee Kernaghan - Friday 13 September

If you're a fan of country music then you'll need to get yourself to Penrith Panthers to see Australia's beloved country music singer, songwriter and guitarists Lee Kernaghan in concert. Performing songs from his new album 'Backroad Nation' - book your tickets now. 

Lakeside 1Music By The River - Sunday 22 September

Enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon at Music By The River. This free event runs from 11am-4pm and includes a program of live music from local musicians. Bring a picnic or buy something to eat from one of the food vendors, and there's activities to keep the kids entertained. 

Lakeside Long Lunch - Saturday 28 September

Enjoy wine, food, live music and a pretty spectacular view at the Lakeside Long Lunch at the Sydney International Regatte Centre. Tickets to this event will get you five wine tastings, a meal at the Lakeside Pavilion, a stemless wine glass, event guide and free entertainment all day. Don't miss out!
