Windows on Queen Art Posters Exhibition

Windows on Queen is seventh cultural project developed under the name of QUEEN STREET RICHES AND TEXTURES which is annual cultural initiative coordinated from St Marys Corner.

Windows on Queen celebrates the flavour of the history of the main street of St Marys. It has been developed as community art, engagement and historical research as well as art mentorship project from September 2017 to June 2018. As a result this engagement brings twelve artistic posters that are installed the windows of commercial  buildings facing the Queen street with historical photographs of the same locations.  Official opening 25 July 2018, RSVP by 23 July.

Interactive links from the posters bring viewers to project website to learn more about history of Queen Street and to listen interviews with local residents. The project was developed in collaboration between St Marys and District Historical Society, local community members and creative team of artists and designers.  

Monday to Friday 9am to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm, Sunday 10am to 5pm.
