Swing West Jazz Orchestra is a 18-member Big Band with many musicians having 30 plus years of playing either in their own jazz bands or for some of the most well-respected Entertainers and Big Bands in Australia and abroad.

The band is Penrith's local community band ( Penrith City Band Inc ), is a non profit organisation and encourages young and old musicians to come to play with the band and to get much needed experience playing this Big Band style of music. It’s love for Big Band music and a passion for entertaining the community that brings us together to form one of the best Big Bands in the Western Sydney Region.

SWJO brings a taste of nostalgia for the old and something new and fresh for the young by playing Big Band tunes that are recognized by both young and old.

Hear the music from Frank Sinatra, Buddy Rich, Natalie Cole, Ella Fitzgerald Maynard Ferguson, Glen Miller and Disney Classics and some swinging Christmas songs for that time of year.

With the incredible vocal talents of Jessica Zamprogno the audience will be spellbound.
