Join in each week for Thursday Night Live – Lockdown Series a special one-hour, livestreamed musical event featuring homegrown performers and exceptional talents.
Each week one local artist will play a live set either from their home or in a studio and the performances will be livestreamed from Penrith City Council’s Facebook page from 7.30pm.
Thursday Night Live – Lockdown Series is the best way to get your musical fix without leaving your house, and you’ll be supporting local performers at the same time. It’s a win win.

The Thursday Night Live – Lockdown Series launched in April 2020 as the economic impact of COVID-19 restrictions for live performances and gatherings of people were starting to be felt by our region’s talented local artists.
The weekly one-hour livestreamed musical event ran for 12 weeks and was a huge success with more than 50,000 performance views across the series, and people tuning in from all over the world to enjoy live music during the lockdown period.
Importantly, the Thursday Night Live – Lockdown Series was a simple and effective way for Penrith City Council and the public to show support for local artists and musicians at a difficult time.
