Celebrating 100 years on its debut tour of Australia

Classical Movements presents Yale Concert Band, Dr. Thomas C. Duffy, Music Director celebrating 100 Years on its debut tour Of Australia performing American and Australian repertoire, in collaboration with Sydney Wind Symphony, Mark Brown, Music Director.

The Yale University Concert Band will tour Australia for the first time in its 100-year history, with concerts in Melbourne, Canberra, Newcastle, and Sydney (30 May). The band is renowned across the United States, having performed at Carnegie Hall, in London’s Royal Albert Hall, and many tours across Europe.

Consisting of 55 brass, woodwind, keyboard and percussion players, the bands repertoire is varied, from John Philip Sousa’s rousing band music to chamber and ensemble works.
