Block Printing Workshop

Join the Creative Fringe for a Friday night of Block printing and BYO Bubbles! Have fun getting your hands dirty - this workshop is the perfect introduction to the art of block printing.

Rebecca from Made by Me Workshop is back at The Fringe and she will guide you through the process of carving rubber to create stamps or blocks. These can then printed onto card or cloth to create an endless array of personalised items to share with your friends and family.

In this workshop participants will carve their own block and then practise with it on paper before using it to create their own block printed tea towel.

Whats Included?

An easy carve rubber to create your block  - Use of our tools to carve your block, - Use of our equipment to print your carved block, - A selection of papers and a tea towel to print your design onto (extra tea towels will available for purchase)

Participants will take home their completed rubber block and everything they have printed. Once you have the know how - you can use your blocks to create some beautiful decor items from home - give as gifts to family and friends..... think cushion covers, tea towels, lampshades, bedlinen - there is endless creativity here. !!
