Hands on Workshop - Rockets
Lots of fun for children ages 4 - 12.
Build and launch paper rockets using compressed air, watch a model rocket launch.
The WSU (Western Sydney University) Penrith Observatory runs astronomy programs designed to enhance exposure to astronomy, science and space science. Includes presentation, short 3D movie and viewing of the Sun safely through a telescope (weather permitting).
$17 per person/child building a rocket, $12 for accompanying adults who do not build their own rocket. Parents/carers to remain with children at all times. Bookings essential.
