Discover all the great markets happening across Penrith this month.
Stroll around the riverside markets at Real Festival at Tench Reserve from 1-2 November and you’ll be amazed by the collection of things that have been made, grown, sewn, picked, crafted and harvested in the local region. There’s art, home wares, candles, soaps, jewellery and clothes on offer across the two-days. This year the markets are open during the day and night, so there’s plenty of time to browse. We know some things just can’t be rushed. Pick up a gift for someone you love or buy yourself something new and unique – you deserve it.
Penrith Showground Market
This lively mid-week market is one of the most popular markets in Penrith. Featuring a diverse range of stallholders from across the region, stroll around and you’re bound to snag yourself a bargain. You’ll find clothes for all ages and sizes, tools, souvenirs, collectables, homewares, jewellery and so much more. Penrith Showground Markets is on every Wednesday from 8.30am-1.30pm at the Penrith Showground.
Emu Craft Market
Just as the name suggests, the Emu Craft Market is made up of stallholders selling arts and crafts which they’ve lovingly made. This is where you’ll pick up something a little bit different, that perfect gift you’ve been looking for, something nobody else has. It’s held at the Nepean Creative & Performing Arts High School on the second Saturday of each month, so make sure you’re there on Saturday 9 November.
Aussie Night Markets

There are also colourful and creative displays of local arts, craft and produce to buy. No need to cook on Sunday 17 November - just swing past from 5-9pm and grab yourself something delicious for dinner. You’re guaranteed to find something else to buy while you’re there.
The Westies Markethas everything you need for a perfect Sunday; shopping, eating, live music, meeting friends and making new ones. It offers, handmade, one off fashion items and home wares, freshly made ready to eat gourmet treats as well as delicious food to take home (even better, no need to cook!).
