Fernhill Walking Trail

Please note the Fernhill Walking Trail will be unavailable between 24 March 2025 - July 12 2025 due to major restoration works at the site.

You are invited to have an look at the stunning property, via a 2.6 kilometre Fernhill walking trail open from 10 am -12.30 pm and 1 pm - 4 pm on Sundays. The walk takes in Fernhill Estate's green setting, and the exterior of the homestead.

Registration is essential. Please note last entry is one hour before the end of each session.

As the 2.6-km walking trail includes stairs and uphill sections, visitors should wear enclosed walking shoes and have a moderate level of fitness. 

Wheelchair access is limited in some areas of the property and tours. Please contact Fernhill in advance Monday to Friday on (02) 9895 7500 to discuss your requirements.

Parking and toilets are available on the site. The site is managed by Greater Sydney Parklands. 

Bring your own food and drinking water as there is no on-site catering. No alcohol is permitted.

Please take away all your rubbish.
