The Gallery Heritage Garden

November is an ideal time for the many garden areas of the Gallery to be enjoyed by all

Approaching the end of the Spring season accentuates the many blooms inhabiting the Gallery garden spaces. Bulbs, annuals, perennials and shrubs come alive in a vast array of colours, flower types and shapes!

As you meander between the Wisteria chinensis and the heritage bathhouse, the senses are delighted with aromas from the large red Rosa blackboy, purple flowering Wisteria and masses of violet ground covers. California poppies (Escholtsia californica) adorn the stone pathways leading around the Magnolia and into the succulent garden.

The greys and lime colours from wormwood foliage contrast with the background Bromeliads and Azaleas under the protected canopy of the Chinese Elm. Be sure to notice the bark textures on this mature tree with its prostrate, pendulous branches weeping above you.
