Fire Engine Rides
Looking for a fun activity for the kids during the school holidays? Look no further!
What could make a visit to the Museum of Fire more memorable, than going for a ride on a vintage fire engine this school holidays. They’ve specially scheduled timeslots for fire engine rides throughout the holidays so that every little one can have a go. See what it's like to ride on a real fire engine.
The Museums rides truck is a genuine Ford D200 fire engine, a truck used in many country NSW towns during the 1960s.
Rides cost $3 per person. The rides can be paid for at the retail shop at the entrance to the Museum.
Museum entry is an additional fee. The Museum has beautiful grounds perfect for a picnic and sometime in the fresh air.
* Please Note: This activity is subject to the availability of the Museums volunteer drivers. Please call before your visit to confirm fire engine rides are being offered on the day of your visit.*
