NAIDOC 2024

Celebrate NAIDOC Week in Penrith
Penrith City Council will celebrate NAIDOC Week 2024 with its annual community NAIDOC event at Jamison Park from 10am to 3pm on Friday 12 July 2024.

Come along and learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, history and heritage! The jam-packed program includes traditional cultural performances, workshops, market stalls, talks, a free BBQ lunch and more.

The event will also embrace the NAIDOC 2024 theme, ‘Keep the Fire Burning! Blak Loud and Proud’ which celebrates the unyielding spirit of our communities and invites all to stand in solidarity, amplifying the voices that have long been silenced.

NAIDOC Week is an opportunity to recognise the significance of Penrith’s First Nations heritage and the important contribution our First Nations population make across our City.
