The Edward Trickett NSW Grade Championships celebrates Australia’s first World Champion in any sport

This was... Professional sculler Edward “Ned” Trickett.

The Championships sees competitors of all abilities race over both the 1000 metre and 2000 metre distances on the course that was home to rowing at the 2000 Olympic Games at The Sydney International Regatta Centre (SIRC).

Racing is conducted across eights, coxless and coxed fours, quad sculls as well as coxless pairs, double sculls, and single sculls.
