Junior Caretaker Day

The Museum of Fire is offering a FREE environmental program for children

Do you have a little wildlife warrior at home? For one special day the Museum of Fire is offering a FREE* environmental program for children!

The Museum of Fire is inviting children aged 5-10 to drop-in and plant some beautiful flowers in our garden for Earth Day! We will provide all the plants and gardening tools, you will just need to come by anytime between 10am - 12pm for your child to plant a single plant. No booking is required, just swing by our garden beds (near the closed playground) on your way into the Museum to plant a beautiful plant!

Development is happening all around us and Penrith is no different. Recent years have seen the green spaces around the Museum disappear but here on site we are lucky enough to still have extensive grounds where children can play and explore with a "green sanctuary" developing here. Junior Caretakers Morning will reintroduce children to the local environment and take them outside, away from all screens.

*Admission into the Museum is not included.
