Penrith Heritage Walk is an 11-kilometre walk starting from the historic Penrith Train Station, you’ll learn about some of the most treasured sites in the city. The walk will take you through Penrith, along the beautiful Nepean River and across to Emu Plains and ending at Emu Plains Station. Go at your own pace, complete the walk in one day, or break it into sections – it’s up to you!

St Marys Heritage Walk is a 4-kilometre walk loop of the township from St Marys Train station and return.

The proximity to the Train Stations makes these walks a great day out using the rail network and nearby to all day parking if you choose to drive.

Take your time, enjoy the views, stop in at cafés, parks and attractions along the way, and enjoy each step as you become acquainted with the places, spaces and people that have helped shape the Penrith and St Marys of today.
