Mount Schoenstatt at Mulgoa is the Home of a beautiful Shrine where not only Catholics but people from many other religions visit to find peace and grace. With up to 1000 visitors each week, the Shrine is the centre of blessing for many people, it is where they seek solace and balance in their hectic lives, some for just a few minutes and others bring their families for the day, enjoying the surrounds and time in the Shrine.
The Shrine has been nominated as a place of pilgrimage for the Jubilee Year of Mercy, 2016. A special day was held last Sunday, to recognise and bless the Shrine Door as a "Holy Door of Mercy". It is Pope Francis's desire that this Year of Mercy may become a "true moment of encounter with the mercy of God."
The Shrine is open 7 days a week from 7.00 am to 8.00 pm. Mass is held daily at 7.00 am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday in the Joseph Kentenich House Chapel and on Thursday's and Sunday's at 11.00 am in the Family Hall.
