It may be chilly and breezy but planning July school holiday activities can be easy!

We've done the hard yards and collated a school holiday events list at your fingertips, you can check out all the listings here: school holiday events and activities but here are some of our favourites:

PDNR Winter Championships - 6 & 7 July
Penrith District Nitro Racing Inc are hosting their 16th Annual Winter Champs event this July. Practice kicks off on Friday 5 July and there will be heaps of exciting RC car racing action all day Saturday and Sunday 6 & 7. Entry is free and spectators are welcome so grab your family or friends and come down and check it out. 

Junkyard Beats - 8 & 10 July
Junkyard Beats Saints thumbAmong other activities, (like first aid for kids and a glow in the dark disco) St Marys Leagues will host Junkyard Beats this school holidays. Kids will learn to make their own musical instruments, how to live more sustainably and recycle items. This show will be very popular so book early to avoid missing out!

Winter Family Heritage Day - 14 July
It’s back by popular demand! Museum of Fire hosts Winter Family Heritage Day, a FREE outdoor family event with free facepainting, $3.50 fire engine rides (pre-booking required) and a chance to see historic firefighting exhibits by the Historic Fire Engine Association (HFEA).

Penrith Regional Gallery - multiple dates 
The Gallery will host a range of workshops including Little Lanterns for pre-schoolers, Sand Sculptures for both 5-8yrs and 9-12yrs and Felting for 9-12yrs too!Bookings are essential!

Mini Makers at City Park - 10 July
Crafters can make their own badge at city Park's Mini Makers session, even better it's free!
