Splash park fun!

Cables aqua park

Looking for an easy way to cool down in Penrith this Summer? Grab your cossie and head to one of our City’s splash parks!

Aqua parkFor some serious water park run, head to Cables Aqua Park where you’ll find a bunch of inflatable slides, runways, jumping pillows and other on-water obstacles. The course is perfect for kids aged 5 and over and you can purchase a single session or an all-day pass depending on your plans. For kids under 5 there is a splash pad that is free of charge.

At Livvi’s Place, at 1 Discovery Way, Jordan Springs, when you play you create the splash pad fun. With see-saws and other active elements that get the water pumping there’s something for everyone at this accessible play area. The splash pad is set within a fully fenced playground that is designed to be inclusive for people of all abilities. Pack an esky and make use of the free BBQ’s and picnic tables.

St_Marys_Splash_Park.jpgThe splash pad at Phoenix Reserve, Phoenix Crescent, Erskine Park features multiple jets and other water play elements designed to cool down hot and bothered little ones. Shade structures with seating offer a refuge for the grown ups and there’s a playground nearby to work off some energy too.

Cool down after a walk or bike ride at the Werrington Lakes Reserve splash park, Burton Street,  Cambridge Park. This spacious and open water play area has beautiful sandstone elements, is next to a  playground and is surrounded by green spaces where you can enjoy a picnic. Pack a ball and make your own fun kicking around with friends.

Both Ripples Penrith and Ripples St Marys offer splash parks which feature a water bucket, jets, slides and other elements. The Penrith splash park is surrounded by lots of open green space and shady trees, while at St Marys you can escape indoors if you need. You can get snacks or a simple lunch from the kiosk at Penrith or the sit-down café at St Marys.
