Astronomy Nights: Explore the night sky, there's a whole universe out there!

The WSU (Western Sydney University) Penrith Observatory runs astronomy nights designed to enhance exposure to astronomy, science and space science. These nights run regardless of the weather and include a multimedia presentation with question time, a 3D astronomy movie, a tour of the dome area 0.6m telescope, and an opportunity to view the night sky through the University's computerised telescopes (weather permitting).

The Observatory runs various events and astronomy nights and rocket workshops throughout the year, please check the WSU Penrith Observatory website for information and dates of events. All visits must be booked and prepaid via the Observatory website. 

The WSU Penrith Observatory is located on the Werrington North Campus of the University of Western Sydney just off the Great Western Highway.
