What's on this November

The first weekend in November promises to be ripper, so cancel all your plans and head to Penrith!

A great weekend in Penrith

Sailability Thumb

On Friday 4 November, experience the Bootleg Beatles at Panthers Penrith Leagues Club with a show that includes an uncanny recreation of the Fab Four’s famous rooftop performance at Apple Studios, or head to St Marys Band Club to enjoy The Best of Akmal a show that will have you clutching your stomach for all the right reasons. Then dead back out to Panthers on Saturday 5 November to enjoy David Campbell Good Lovin’ and More tour for some smooth sounds and serious entertainment.

Round off the weekend, by enjoying some outdoor retail therapy on Sunday 6 November at Luddenham Country Market and Mamre Homestead Markets, or head to the Sydney International Regatta Centre for a Sailability Come and Try Day – sailing for ALL abilities!

Work it at a workshop

There’s nothing like trying something new to add some sparkle to your life, and there’s nothing like a workshop to get you started! On Saturday 5 November, try a morning Barista Basics Workshop with Underground Roasters and learn all the tricks coffee bean trade. If gathering your own grub tickles your fancy, the Penrith Regional Gallery is holding a free Wild Edibles Foraging Workshop on Saturday 12 November as part of their open day. The Creative Fringe is living up to its name this month with four great workshops, Alcohol Ink Usable Art on Sunday 6 November, Woven Christmas Tree Making and Woven Platter Making on Sunday 20 November and a Kokedama and Macrame Hanger Workshop on Friday 25 November.

And now for something completely different!

What do the world’s funniest hypnotist, Xtreme Bull Riding and Live Pro Wrestling have in common? They’re all heading to Penrith for one BIG weekend of amazement and action!Dojo Novembershow thumb

Catch all the action of the Xtreme Bulls show on Saturday 19 November at the Penrith Paceway and back this up with Pro Live Wrestling at Penrith Gaels Club on Sunday 20 November.

Celebrate with our community

The Penrith Community Christmas Tree lighting is an annual event that marks the start of the festive season and brings the City Centre to life with stalls, food and entertainment. The fun kicks off at 5pm on Friday 18 November and the evening ends with a visit from a special fellow in a red suit.

Then on the weekend of 26 and 27 November you’re invited to ROAM Penrith – your invitation to discover, play and ROAM the heart of our City and enjoy live music, art installations, kids activities and tasty treats from food trucks.

And, of course, there’s plenty more to see and do in Penrith this month. Stay up to date and find out more at https://www.visitpenrith.com.au/events
