Cheers to Penrith's bar scene

In Penrith you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to cool bars.

Early evenings or late nights, cocktails, mocktails or craft beer, hip alleyways, river or rooftop vistas, Penrith is home to an inviting range of unique and quirky bars that are the perfect choice when you want to relax or catch up with family and friends. Here’s cheers to Penrith’s bar scene!

If you like your drink with a view, why not try Theo’s Rooftop Bar at the tippy top of the Astina Suites, kick back at the Log Cabin overlooking the water, or on the water aboard The River Boat Bar.

It doesn’t get more High Street, than High Street Social and then there’s the old world charm and hip surrounds of Mr Watkins, late night dumplings at Duck Duck Goose, arcade fun at Elton Chong and modern Mexican at Chechos – now that’s one happening stretch of road!

When you fancy a drink in a club, try Ironbark Terrace at St Marys Leagues Club or Dom’s Cocktail Bar at Panthers Penrith Leagues Club and if an Irish pub is more your style, visit O’Donohues.

For a fancy vibe give AG a try, or for a family feel, Henry’s Bar and Restaurant.

Drinks with a Greek twist? Head to Avli. Indian flavours, try Masala Kitchen (it’s got its own gin bar folks!) and Asian vibe, Goji Restaurant and Bar.

Looking for a bar where they brew their own? Look no further than one of Penrith’s four craft breweries – yes, that’s right, four!

And for every bar on this list there’s another one waiting to be discovered. Check our list of Penrith bars here.
